Riverdale season 5, episode 4 preview: 5 huge things to look out for post-time-jump
Riverdale season 5 takes the town, the characters and the show into a brand new era and the promotional photos reveal more about it than you think.
Riverdale season 5 was quick to reintroduce fans to the captivating capers the show is renowned for. The CW TV series picked up exactly where the previous season left off simply because season 4’s finale wasn’t meant to be the finale. Though it worked well nonetheless, we got a chance to witness the real finale in last week’s tear-jerking graduation episode.
An hour of television that brought one of the most bizarre chapters in TV history to an end, it was heartfelt, emotional and surprisingly reserved as it opted against the over-the-top shenanigans that it’s renowned for and instead went out relatively quietly. But that’s okay because the show is about to kick off another bizarre – no doubt even more wacky – era for television.
Riverdale season 5, episode 4 and 5 preview
Set seven years in the future, the upcoming fourth episode of the season, “Chapter Eighty: Purgatorio”, is where season 5 really begins. The fifth episode, “Chapter Eighty-One: Homecoming”, will carry on that story as it’s time for Archie Andrews, Jughead Jones, Veronica Lodge and Betty Cooper to return to Riverdale for more madness.
Though some of their friends will be waiting for them – friends like Toni and Cheryl – other familiar faces – like Hiram Lodge – will no doubt make the return a tough one for the Riverdale core four.
But what truly awaits the gang in the future? Well, we might be able to help you with that as the upcoming reboot’s promotional photos and trailers for the next two episodes hides a multitude of secrets.
