The Flash star reveals he and wife are expecting their first child in touching social media post
The Flash’s Grant Gustin has revealed that he and his wife LA Thoma are expecting their first child together.
Major congratulations are in order for Grant Gustin and his wife LA Thoma who are expecting their first child together. The Arrowverse veteran and LA took to Instagram to share the news with their followers.
Posting a snap of himself and LA holding the baby scan (along with their three dogs), Gustin revealed that he was “unbelievably excited” and that “the dogs obviously are too”.

Congratulations to Grant Gustin and LA Thoma
Grant Gustin and LA Thoma began dating back in 2017. They were engaged in April 2017 and married in December 2018. This will be their first child together and fans couldn’t be happier for them.
Gustin’s co-stars were quick to congratulate the pair, with The Flash‘s Candice Patton, Legends of Tomorrow‘s Caity Lotz and Superman and Lois‘ Elizabeth Tulloch all sharing their excitement in the comments section.

For anyone who doesn’t know, Grant Gustin has portrayed the titular hero (and his human alter-ego Barry Allen) on The CW’s TV series The Flash since 2014, after making his debut in two episodes of Arrow. The show has enjoyed an incredibly successful stint, running for six seasons thus far (with its seventh set to hit screens in a matter of weeks).
Before landing the role, he portrayed Sebastian Smythe in Glee between 2011 and 2013, while also appearing in episodes of CSI: Miami and 90210. He has also reprised the role of Barry Allen/The Flash on multiple more episodes of Arrow, Supergirl, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and Batwoman, while also voicing the character in animated spin-off Vixen.
