Azie Tesfai is undoubtedly making history as she is the first cast member within the Arrowverse to have penned a teleplay for one of the episodes. Tesfai expressed her appreciation in being allowed the chance to pen the script, commenting:

It’s been such an honor to play Kelly Olsen, a BIPOC and queer character in the DC universe… Working in our amazing writer’s room and co-writing an episode has been an immensely educational and empowering experience. Writing is such a passion for me and I’m excited to continue on this creative journey.”"

This will also be one of the Arrowverse episodes that will be directed by Arrowverse alum David Ramsey.
