WandaVision: 5 Best Moments from “All-New Halloween Spooktacular!”

2. Vision discovers the bad side of town
From the beginning of the episode, it is made abundantly clear that Vision and Wanda’s conflict from the previous episode has yet to be resolved. Vision’s role in the story this episode revolves around the character discovering the area of Westview that Wanda has told her children to never enter.
This results in Vision discovering the truth about the “characters” who do not star in the series, and it is absolutely haunting. Wanda has the people on the outskirts of town living a life of mundane tasks, such as the woman hanging decorations on the clothesline on repeat (with a small tear rolling down her cheek).
However, other people are not as lucky, as they are frozen motionless due to Wanda not needing them for the plot or to appear in her sitcom. It is a distressing insight into the individuals we do not see appear in Wanda’s sitcom, as they are essentially prisoners whose motions are stopped against their will.
Vision’s trek to this side of town also results in the android meeting Agnes, who seems to be another trapped civilian as Vision gets her to reveal her real soul. She seems like a woman with all hope lost, as she discovers Vision has no memory of his past membership of the Avengers.
This side story seems to indicate that Vision and Wanda are heading towards a major conflict, as Vision vows to save the people of Westview from their entrapment.
