Peter Maximoff has debuted in MCU

This theory is the most exciting of them all and, in being so, it could still tie into a number of the theories listed above. Having Evan Peters specifically return to play Pietro provides a major connection to the X-Men franchise from Fox, and could lead to the X-Men entering the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Fans were obviously excited with the appearance of Peters’ version of the character at the end of the fifth episode, and Marvel should keep that excitement flowing. Having Peters return as his particular version of the character, who is actually named Peter, would be an interesting route to go.

Since the appearance of the character would connect to another universe, it would directly connect the series to the Doctor Strange sequel too. There could be a number of ways the character ended up in Westview as well, linking to a number of theories above.

Wanda’s reality-warping powers could also lead to her accidentally merging some universes together, making Evan Peters’ character the main MCU version from now on.

The possibilities truly are endless, and the mystery surrounding Pietro’s return will continue to unravel as the show goes on.
