Riverdale season 5 has thus far wrapped up the previous season’s story and kicked off the one that was always planned for it. With the latter came a seven-year time jump that indicated things would be different for the gang when they made their way back to town. This turned out to be very, very true.
With Hiram Lodge attempting to make Riverdale uninhabitable so that his SoDale development will thrive, it’s up Archie Andrews, Betty Cooper, Jughead Jones, Veronica Lodge and Toni Topaz to do something about it. That’s exactly what they are doing in this week’s episode.

Toni will resume her position as guidance counsellor while Kevin Keller will do the same with his job as a teacher. However, they will now be joined by Archie, Jughead, Veronica and Betty – all of whom have agreed to return to Riverdale High so that they can give the students of tomorrow the chance that Hiram is trying to take away from them.
How will the gang function as teachers? And what of Betty and Archie’s friends with benefits situation? What will happen when Jughead discovers the truth?
