Spider-Man 3: Official title of the MCU threequel has finally been revealed

After several red herrings, Spider-Man: No Way Home is the title of the third film.
The cast of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Spider-Man trilogy had left fans guessing the title of the third film, but Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have finally announced the real title: Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Lead cast members Tom Holland (Peter Parker/Spider-Man), Jacob Batalon (Ned), and Zendaya (MJ) circulated fake title cards on social media to publicize the eventual announcement. In an alternate universe, fans would be saving the date for Spider-Man: Phone Home, Spider-Man: Home-Wrecker, and Spider-Man: Home Slice.
Fans can look forward to catching Spider-Man: No Way Home this Christmas.
The teaser for the announcement features other work-in-progress titles for the film and some are even more hilarious than the ones shared by the cast.
Of course, we need to keep in mind that the world is still in the midst of a pandemic. It’s interesting that this film already has a set release date when Marvel has a slate of completed films waiting in the pipeline (Black Widow, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and The Eternals).
Spider-Man: No Way Home – What do we know so far?
Well, that’s hard to say. Marvel is keeping their cards close to their chests with regards to the film’s synopsis and cast of characters. We know there are going to be massive fight scenes, but what fans are really wondering is how Peter Parker will deal with the fact that Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) revealed his secret identity to the whole world through the online blog, the Daily Bugle.
Going by some news outlets, every character from every adaptation of Spider-Man will be appearing, including previous Spider-Men Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, plus Sam Raimi’s trilogy villains Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe), and Doc Ock (Alfred Molina).
There have also been rumours that Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock/Daredevil from the Netflix Marvel show will be joining Spider-Man: No Way Home, and a recent casting announcement has fanned the flames even more.
Many fans are hoping to see Spider-Man’s comic book nemesis Kraven the Hunter make his big-screen debut.
Tom Holland, however, was recently quoted saying that ‘it’ll be a miracle’ if his predecessors were part of the third film.
Considering JK Simmons made the cross over to the MCU in Far From Home, it’s no wonder that fans foresee the multiverse becoming a reality.
WandaVision has been hinting heavily at the possible existence of the multiverse in the MCU, and Doctor Strange 2 is titled The Multiverse of Madness, so we shouldn’t rule out anything!
Judging by the title of the third Spider-Man film, we can imagine that Peter and his friends may be trapped in another universe with no way home.
