5. Hail Hydra?

Comic book: Deadpool No. 31-36

Writers: Gerry Duggan

Wade trusts Steve Rogers. When he gives him an order, Wade follows it without hesitation. However, this blind loyalty once led to Wade’s downfall.

First, Rogers ordered Deadpool to kill Phil Coulson. Once Preston found out, she tried to kill Wade – until Deadpool took her out first. After finding out that he was following orders from a false Steve Rogers (Hydra cap) it was too late. Wade’s friends and family lost faith in and abandoned him. All of the happiness he gained was lost in a blink of an eye. This story ends with Wade erasing his memory. He couldn’t live knowing that he let his loved ones down.

4. Wade Helps T’Challa save Wakanda

Comic book: Doomwar

Writers: Jonathan Maberry

It was a match-up for the ages as Victor von Doom went up against T’Challa, the Black Panther (Shuri), Wakanda, the Fantastic Four, three of the X-Men, and War Machine. All of those heroes and Doom still came closer than anyone ever has.

While everyone was fighting his Doom-Bots, Doom took all the vibranium he could. He was winning because he knew everything that T’Challa would do. So T’Challa did something that Doom wouldn’t see coming: He hired Deadpool to help out.

Wade ended up causing a lot of havoc throughout Latveria and even blew up Castle Doom. The big move, however, was sending Deadpool through a portal that only he could survive. It was the only way T’Challa could get Doom. And when Wade arrived, Doom beat him. However, the damage was done. Wade helped T’Challa get the information he needed. Only Deadpool could throw a monkey wrench in Doom’s plan.
