16. Deadpool becomes friends with Cable

The first time we met Deadpool, he was trying to kill Cable. With the help of Domino, Wade was defeated and literally mailed back to his boss. For years after that, they were at each other’s throats. Then, Cable found a way to try and unite the world. Despite their rivalry, Wade liked what Cable was doing.

Ever since then, they’ve been friends. Sure, they’ve fought and tried to kill each other, but they remained buddies. Their bromance helped Deadpool continue on a righteous path. Sometimes Cable had to give him a hard dose of reality (sometimes too hard), but it worked.

That was elder Cable. Young Cable hates Deadpool. We’ll have to wait and see if they’ll ever be friends.

15. Pancakes

Wade was upset that Cyclops turned down his offer to be an X-Man. Logan told Cyclops it was a mistake to not keep tabs on him. With that in mind, Cyclops and Wolverine sent Domino to be Wade’s chaperone. When she approached him, Wade met her with hostility and led Domino to a glass window on the roof they were on where she fell into a pool full of pancakes. 372,844 pancakes to be exact.

Deadpool led her there thinking that if she’d been there to kill him that the moment she fell her team would be all over him. No matter his reasoning, Deadpool made 372, 844 pancakes and put them in a pool. He says that many pancakes smell like victory.
