2. What is Agatha Harkness’ goal?

Agatha Harkness was drawn to the power of the Hex and just had to figure out who was powerful enough to wield Chaos Magic. She found that out by infiltrating the town of Westview and living among the residents like she was a member of the sitcom, pulling the wool over Wanda’s eyes the whole time.

Now that she knows who – or, more appropriately what – Wanda is, she has gone full camp-queen pantomime witch. With her flowing robe, big wavy hair and almighty powers on display, she decided that it was time to, uh, anger Wanda by threatening her children? And why choose to do so outside of the safety of her basement when Wanda is clearly the more powerful of the two?

What is Agatha’s main goal here? Is she upset that she’s no longer the “baddest witch in town”? Is she afraid of the power that the Scarlet Witch wields? Or does she want that power for herself?

Like much of the show’s presentation, much of Agatha’s motivations remain a mystery here. But something tells us that she and Wanda are destined for a magical battle in Westview in the finale next week.

1. How will White Vision play into things?

The post-credit sequence of WandaVision‘s penultimate episode saw Director Tyler Hayward unveil his true plan. After a season full of shady behaviour and a lack of consideration for doing the right thing, he revealed that he and his team had successfully managed to reconstruct The Vision’s body (albeit completely devoid of color). They just weren’t able to power him up… until now. Using the supernatural residue found on the mini aircraft that Wanda expelled from the Hex, he managed to turn Vision on and “bring him back to life”.

Fans of the comics will know that White Vision isn’t the same loving and caring android that he once was, meaning that S.W.O.R.D. will no doubt take great pleasure in using him as their own sentient weapon. However, will Hayward send him into the Hex to take on Wanda?

While an android may not be strong enough to defeat the Scarlet Witch, the fact that he looks like Vision – the very same Vision she loved and recreated in Westview – could knock her over an edge she may never find her way back from. And that could ultimately allow Agatha Harkness to claim a victory she may not have been able to without him.

WandaVision‘s finale streams on Disney+ next Friday, March 5, at 12:00 PT and 3:00 a.m. ET.
