The second season of Batwoman has focused on many narratives. At the heart of the story, there have been two important storylines. One is the disappearance of Kate Kane, the original Batwoman, and the other is the rise of Ryan Wilder who has become her successor.

Ryan’s evolution into the new Scarlet Knight has not been a seamless one. She has had to contend with her own demons as well as the demons from Kate’s time in the suit. This resulted in her being shot by Tommy Elliot with a Kryptonite bullet. She survived and defeated Hush in battle but ever since, the wound has impacted her a great deal. This week’s installment will see Ryan finally forced to address that.
Elsewhere, Alice and Ocean will continue to search for answers in regards to Safiyah’s motivations and figure out why they can’t remember each other.
