Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff has returned in her greatest MCU apperance yet as Vision (Paul Bettany) has also made himself much more at home on screens than the movies allowed him to. The pair’s attempt to live happily ever after in a sitcom-inspired reality was heartwarming at first but the penultimate episode highlighted how tragic it really was.
Wanda’s heartbreak over Vision’s death in Avengers: Infinity War resulted in her creation of The Hex and the light-hearted version of Westview that we know. However, the power of the anomaly drew both S.W.O.R.D. and the ancient witch Agatha Harkness to her location.
Wanda will battle Agatha in the finale as she attempts to save her children Tommy and Billy. However, she may also have to do battle with the White Vision that was reassembled by Hayward. And what of the Vision she created? Can Westview’s “newlyweds” and Monica Rambeau defeat Agatha, Pietro, SWORD and White Vision?
