WandaVision has completed its first season and now all fans can talk about is WandaVision season 2.

WandaVision reintroduced viewers to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Disney Plus show is the very first installment of Phase Four of the MCU and it showcased why Wanda Maximoff and Vison are such intriguing Marvel characters.

The first season saw Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) reunited in suburbia. Out of grief over the latter’s death in Avengers: Infinity War, the Scarlet Witch created a new life for the pair that was inspired by several classic sitcoms, with the ’50s, ’60s, ’70s, ’80s, ’90s and 2010s all inspiring an episode each. But can we expect to see it all again in season 2?

Below, you’ll find all the up-to-date information you need about WandaVision season 2, its premiere on Disney+, its cast, any trailers and more.

Is there a WandaVision season 2?

WandaVision has yet to be renewed for a second season by Marvel Studios so it’s unknown if there will be one. The show definitely seems like its more of a miniseries than an ongoing series as Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirmed that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is essentially going to serve as the second season of WandaVision as Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda will play a pivotal role in that movie.

However, Feige also teased fans by claiming that he’s “been at Marvel too long to say a definite ‘No’ to anything as far as a second season of WandaVision,” so there is always a chance we could see a follow-up if Marvel are eager to recreate the success of the first season.

WandaVision season 2 release date

As WandaVision season 2 has yet to be greenlit it’s hard to imagine when it could premiere. Elizabeth Olsen will be busy working on Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness so filming certainly wouldn’t begin immediately if it were to be renewed.

The earliest possibility for a second season of WandaVision would probably be around 2023 but until anything is confirmed, nobody can guarantee it will actually happen.

WandaVision season 2 cast

WandaVision‘s second season would, of course, star Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/the Scarlet Witch and Paul Bettany as the Vision. You would also think that Julian Hilliard and Jett Klyne would return as their children Billy and Tommy. However, it’s unknown at this point if any of the remaining cast would be returning as well.

The first season also starred Kathryn Hahn as Agnes the neighbor/Agatha Harkness, Teyonah Parris as Captain Monica Rambeau, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, Kat Dennings as Dr. Darcy Lewis, Josh Stamberg as S.WO.R.D. Director Tyler Hayward and Evan Peters as “Pietro Maximoff”.

WandaVision season 2 trailer

As WandaVision has yet to be renewed for a second season, there hasn’t been any trailer released for the show as of yet. In the meantime, why not revisit the show’s first trailer to give you an idea of what the second season could look like if it is greenlit.

What is WandaVision season 2 about?

It’s unknown what the second season of WandaVision would be about if it were to happen. The first season was so unique as Wanda’s creation of Westview out of sadness over Vision’s death made it clear that the concept had a limited shelf-life.

If there were to be a second season, it would no doubt be another mystery between the pair in another unique environment but given that we already know the story behind the first season, WandaVision season 2 would be very hard to pull off.

If anyone could make it happen, however, it’s Marvel Studios.
