Who is the best character from Captain America: The Winter Soldier?

Marvel character: The Winter Solider

Steve Rogers’ back was against the wall. Nick Fury was creating a system that was going after people before they were found guilty. Rogers then discovers that Hydra had infiltrated S.H.I.E.L.D. and the majority of the people there were secretly Hydra. To top all of that off, he finds out that his best friend (Bucky) was actually alive and working for Hydra. Now, Bucky is the Winter Soldier. A guy that’s been assassinating people for decades.

Winter Soldier was scary in a different kind of way. When he appeared, the music got eerie. This added to his mystique. He almost killed Nick Fury and went up against Captain America three times and almost won. He’s so skilled that he caught Cap’s shield in mid-air and threw it back at him. Hydra was a great antagonist, but they wouldn’t be as feared without their Winter Soldier.

Winter Soldier helped bring the movie together. After Captain America: The First Avenger, Captain America needed a good boss fight. His battle with Red Skull was more about will and determination than physicality. His battle with Bucky was both mental and physical. Each of their fights were incredible. And, the scene when Steve sees his friend for the first time is right out of the comics. Everything about him was perfect.

Honorable mention: Captain America
