Who is the best character from Guardians of the Galaxy?

Marvel character: Peter Quill/Star-Lord

Guardians of the Galaxy shocked the world. It’s doubtful Marvel Studios thought this movie would be received as well as it was. It’s a movie revolving around characters that even Marvel Comics fans may not know about. That’s including the talking tree and raccoon. Here we are years later and it’s still one of the best MCU projects.

Each of the characters added something to the movie. Drax’s inability to get sarcasm was hilarious. Rocket’s need to be the smartest and have the biggest gun was entertaining. Gamora being an overall bad-@$$ helped give the team legitimacy. As great as they were, it was Star-Lord that gets the top prize.

Peter Quill rocked from start to finish. Sometimes he was an immature man-child dancing while on a mission. Other times he was the hero more than willing to die for his teammates. He gave up his helmet so Gamora could live knowing that he couldn’t survive in space too long. When Ronan was prepared to destroy a planet, Quill became a distraction.

Then, when Ronan lost the Infinity Stone, he jumped to catch it well aware of the conscience. A true hero and entertainer. Not bad for a guy who was looked at as a joke.

Honorable mention: Groot
