Who is the best character from Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2?

Marvel character: Rocket

Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 is another thing altogether. People wanted something that they didn’t receive. Realistically, it was a good sequel. When you have a movie as good as the first Guardians of the Galaxy, the next film is going to be critiqued harsher. And it was certainly judged harshly by fans and film critics.

Everything from the music in the soundtrack to the plot of the story was criticized unfairly. Granted, some of the things said were warranted. Ego was inferior to Ronan in every way. Because of Star-Lord’s involvement with Ego, he wasn’t as good this time around. Where Star-Lord may have dropped, Rocket improved.

Rocket didn’t get a lot of action scenes in the previous movie. This time, he did. Sometimes he was hands-on. Other times it was his tech. The part where he fought Ravagers displayed his superior skills at setting traps and stealth. What put him over the top was watching him grow.

He came to terms with why he was so angry and felt the need to prove himself. He was still the angry and sarcastic Rocket we loved, except he matured a bit. This growth carried on into Avengers: Infinity War. If not for this, his maturity while traveling with Thor wouldn’t have made sense.
