Who is the best character from Black Panther?

Marvel characters: The Women of Wakanda

Black Panther shocked the world with its impressive visuals, unmatched acting from top to bottom, and impeccable story. From the moment the movie begins, you’re instantly transported to a world of wonder and literal magic.

As it continues, you’re hit in the heart with emotional moments that range from the love of a family member, romantic adoration, and despair. There were comedic moments sprinkled throughout the movie in a way that didn’t ruin any of the scenes. With all of these positive accolades (and there are more), it’s the women of Wakanda that stole the show.

This writer has been on record about how he feels about the women of Wakanda. They’re the glue that holds the Golden City together. The geniuses behind the Wakandan technology. The protectors of the people and the royal family. They’re also the leaders of the people.

Okoye was strong physically and in will. When Killmonger threatened the city she loved, she defended it. Her love W’Kabi attempted a coup d’état, he quickly learned where her alliance stood. Shuri was a genius. Everything she did was inspiring. Her technology gave T’Challa the edge he needed throughout the movie.

Last, but not least, Nakia. She helped show T’Challa a new way of thinking. That it was time for Wakanda to leave the shadows and help the world. Killmonger was fantastic, but, without the women, Wakanda and the movie would have collapsed.

Honorable mention: Erik Killmonger
