Who is the best character from Captain America: The First Avenger?

Marvel character: Steve Rogers/Captain America

Captain America was the star of the movie. He’s the reason this movie was created. Not only that, but Chris Evans was perfect in the role. He brought the character from the comics to the screen and made it look easy. You felt for him when he was weak and skinny. Watching him jump on the grenade or figuring out how to get the flag made you smile. When he became a super soldier, you marveled at his feats of athleticism while he maintained the same amount of heart before he bulked up. Steve Rogers showed why he was the model that every hero should be.

Being the star and the name of the movie will not guarantee that they’re the best part of the movie. Something you’ll see as this list continues. Peggy Carter or Colonel Chester Phillips could have been picked as well. Without them, Captain America wouldn’t have looked as good. Colonel Phillips added adversity throughout the movie while Peggy Carter gave him strength.

Nonetheless, Captain America is what made this movie work. He had the emotional moments, best action scenes, and even some humorous moments. Like the other movies on this list, Cap didn’t do it alone, but he was definitely the wheel that kept this vehicle moving.

Honorable mention: Peggy Carter
