Who is the best character from Avengers: Infinity War?
Marvel character: Thanos
We’ve been waiting to see what Thanos could do since the end credit scene in The Avengers. He was feared throughout the universe, but why? Comic book fans may have been aware, but the average MCU moviegoer has no idea. All they were aware of was he intimidates people from his floating chair and that he smiles. When Avengers: Infinity War debuted in theaters, everyone bore witness to who the Mad Titan was.
Thanos’ physical prowess was on display immediately. He beat the Hulk and made it look easy. Did he have a power stone? Yes, he did. That doesn’t make the beating any less impressive. Hulk is the strongest there is. That was proven false. Later, Thanos beat everyone in his way, snapped his fingers, and the Avengers were defeated.
When people think of Thanos, it isn’t the fighting that people think about. It’s the way he moved and spoke. Everything was calculated. He never let emotions get in the way of his plans. That included giving up the thing he loved most.
He was captivating when he spoke too. Whenever he delivered a line it was like listening to an evil scholar. Everything made sense no matter how terrible it was. After having Killmonger everyone knew Thanos had big shoes to fill as an antagonist. He had to hit viewers on more than the base level. Those shoes were filled and then some.
