2. Agatha Harkness

Where do we start with the amazing Agatha Harkness?  When Kathryn Hahn first appeared, comic book fans knew in their hearts that Agnes the neighbor was the Agatha from Marvel Comics. However, our assumptions started to fade as WandaVision continued because, most of the time, she seemed like just a, well, nosy neighbor. Considering that Hahn usually plays comedic roles, it wouldn’t have been shocking for her to do just do what she does best here because she still would have nailed it. But all of that just made the Agatha reveal better than anyone could have hoped.

Everyone wanted Mephisto to be the ones pulling the strings. Some people may be disappointed that he wasn’t, but they can’t be mad. Kathryn Hahn outdid herself. She played the evil witch flawlessly. There was no sympathy for her either. She was wicked to the core – especially after making Wanda relive all the horrible things in her life because she wanted her powers. It just highlighted how awful a person the ancient witch was.

It was difficult not making her the number one character. Agatha was popular when she was just the fun neighbor who popped up right on time but by the end she became a phenomenon – so much so that her fans probably didn’t love her fate in the end.

In a few short episodes, Agatha has put her name right up there with Thanos and Killmonger as one of the MCU’s favorite villains.
