1. Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch

At no point was Wanda Maximoff stagnant or stale in a show that completely revolved around her. From the very first episode all the way to the end, she showed why she was the star time and time again. Her comedy in her “show” was great, but this was only a great foundation upon which she would continue to outdo herself.

Watching her transform into the Scarlet Witch in the finale was nothing short of incredible. Topping it off with the way she defeated Agatha and her final bittersweet moments with Vision put her in the number one spot.

Then there’s the end-credit scene. It looked like Wanda had found peace. She was in a cabin away from civilization drinking tea and relaxing. As we go further into her house, however, we see differently. Wanda created another version of herself to be somewhere while she studies magic from the Darkhold. She took what Agatha said to heart and is now learning about herself and her magic. The problem is this could be the beginning of Wanda going down a very dark path.

The look on Wanda’s face as she’s reading the books was terrifying and captivating. An underrated part of Elizabeth Olson’s role as Wanda, she didn’t need to speak to convey the character’s emotions. Her facial expressions and her mannerisms did all of that for her. For example, when she was telling S.W.O.R.D. to back off, the look on her face said it all – and what it was saying was trouble. Now, when she spoke, it made everything scarier.

In short, Elizabeth Olsen was perfect in WandaVision and she had so much great material to work with. We couldn’t have asked for a better character and interpretation of Wanda Maximoff in this universe. She walked the line between hero and villain better than anything we’ve seen in a comic book project. The best part? This is only the beginning for Wanda.
