Agatha Harkness

Lastly, we have Agatha Harkness. The villain of the piece, it’s important to note that Wanda didn’t kill Agatha or take her powers away; she just took her memory. She also told her that she’d be back if she needed her. With that in mind, here comes a Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness mention again.

Agatha will more than likely appear in the Doctor Strange sequel. If she doesn’t get out of her spell herself, then Wanda could set her free. Remember, in the comics, Agatha is Wanda’s mentor. It would make sense to see her in this capacity in the MCU too. If Doctor Strange and Wanda fight and she loses, she may need to discover how she could grow to be even more powerful. And with that, Agatha could teach her how to do that.

As of now, there seems to be no plans for her. And yet it feels like there’s no way this is the last we’ll see of Agatha Harkness. The character simply became too popular to write her off so soon. Agatha was responsible for many of WandaVision‘s memes and the song Agatha all Along became a huge hit. In fact, this writer loved it so much that he purchased it himself!

It would be a huge missed opportunity if Agatha didn’t return to the MCU in the future.

All episodes of WandaVision are now available on Disney+.
