The Falcon and the Winter Soldier episode 2 runtime: How long is the second episode?
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier season 1, episode 2 is on Disney Plus but how long is the runtime for the follow-up to the premiere?
The premiere of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier streamed on Disney+ last Friday. The runtime of season 1, episode 1, entitled “New World Order”, was revealed to be 49 minutes including credits (although the episode itself is 42 minutes without credits).
Being that the entire limited series is indeed six episodes in total, the second episode is most likely going to kick things up a notch as the action-adventure buddy series raises the stakes and enters the second act.
Sam Wilson’s associate and support staff of the US Air Force, Joaquin Torres, has been investigating the anti-patriot group known as the Flag-Smashers – who made a demonstration by robbing a bank in Switzerland. Torres barely escaped with his life as a member of the Flag-Smashers with enhanced strength wounded him.
It turned out later that both Wilson and Bucky Barnes are about to be dealt a devastating blow as Steve Rogers’ shield (that was loaned to the U.S. government by Wilson for the Captain America Exhibit) was given to John Walker – who was announced to the public as the new Captain America.
How long is The Falcon and the Winter Soldier episode 2?
Like the previous episode, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier episode 2 clocks in at the 49 minute mark with credits. That means that, without credits, it once again amounts to 42 minutes.
Since this series combined will run along the six-hour mark, each episode is expected to hit the 45-minute mark (without credits). However, as the storyline kicks into high gear with rising action as it goes on, we could see some episodes running a little longer, perhaps reaching 55 minutes or the hour-mark.
The episodes are expected to be between the length of the average 42-minute American network TV show and the somewhat longer 1-hour cable drama. So far, we have two examples of the former but whether that will continue as the show goes on remains to be seen.
The Falcon and the Winter Solder adds a new episode on Disney+ every Friday.
