Ranking of Marvel characters based on dateability – 16. Thor

When it comes to Marvel Cinematic characters, if you are a member of the Avengers, you might be highly regarded. And that means ranking pretty high on the dateability list. But much like the Hulk, Thor is actually not nearly as high as one might think.

While dating he might be a fun guy, and someone you’d actually enjoy spending time with, it is important to note that some of his previous relationships haven’t exactly ended well. In fact, I’m pretty sure after leaving his homeworld he was dumped. And who can blame anyone when you consider some of his coping methods?

An example of some of his less-than-stellar moments includes that time where instead of leading his people the way he was supposed to, at one point everything was left to Valkyrie to handle.

However, that shouldn’t take him off the list of potential dates. He really does seem to have an epic sense of humor, he cleans up well, he has a very solid love for his family, and while he is technically a god, he doesn’t actually let that go to his head (much).

And if you are looking to plan a fun date night, there are so many things you can do with this hero. After all, he seems to have an appreciation for even the simplest of things. So why not plan a date at a museum (his commentary would be all the entertainment you need), or take him stargazing. It would likely end up being the perfect date.
