Ranking of Marvel characters based on dateability – 15. Hawkeye

Over the years, Hawkeye (aka Clint Barton), has proven that he can hang with some of Earth’s mightiest heroes. While he may not have superpowers, expensive equipment, or even assassin-level skills, he is an expert marksman. His ability to wield a bow and arrow is so impressive that it is easy to overlook the fact that he is perhaps the most human member of the team (Natasha notwithstanding).

But none of this is why we would consider dating Hawkeye. We already know that he is a family man, with a strong bond that even death can’t defy. He has a solid appreciation for family and romance. And while he may not be perfect (no one is), he is a truly down-to-Earth individual with some impressive abilities.

He proves repeatedly that he thinks of others, at least when it comes to the people he cares about. He is willing to make sacrifices for others. And he is the kind of man who fights for what he believes is right.

Love him or hate him, Hawkeye is someone who would be interesting to talk to over dinner. And some of the date ideas you could come up with might be enough to keep you both entertained for quite some time. (Who else thinks a few nights at a shooting range of some sort would be perfect date night material?)
