Ranking of Marvel characters based on dateability – 14. The Wasp

Ever since she was introduced in the Ant-Man movie, Hope van Dyne/Pym has been a fascinating individual. And while she did not take on the mantle of The Wasp officially until the second movie, her character has shown some solid growth as both a hero and a potential romantic partner.

While she has a very single-minded focus when it comes to getting what she wants, she also has a soft spot for those she cares about. If there is one thing I absolutely love about this character, it would have to be her ability to “suffer no fools.” Hope van Dyne is not about to let people walk all over her, act like they are better than her, or even make her feel like she is not as smart as anyone else in the room.

And yes, Hope is often one of the smartest people in the room.

Although planning a date for Hope might seem difficult, I think a trip to an apiary would be fascinating. Or maybe even heading to a botanical garden, where she can see actual wasps in actions (well hopefully not, but still it is the thought that counts).

Whether you appeal to her scientific background, her role as The Wasp, or just the things she enjoys in general, it feels like Hope van Dyne/Pym might just be one of those people we could see being a fun date all around. And yes, we would totally bring her home to our parents.
