Ranking of Marvel characters based on dateability – 13. Ant-Man

Breaking the fourth wall a bit here, anytime we have a character brought to life by Paul Rudd then we are adding him to a list (any list!). And that is especially true if it is a dateability list. But, unfortunately for those of us who are Paul Rudd fans, we can’t actually break the top 10 with him because Ant-Man (aka Scott Lang) has a bit of a checkered past, which he has no problem using to his benefit.

Listen I don’t hold his prison time against him, but the fact that he is still breaking into places is a bit of a bad sign when it comes to our possible future commitments. Also, it probably doesn’t help that I am pretty sure he has a total thing for Hope van Dyne (we are going to pretend that’s not a thing!). But I digress.

When it comes to Ant-Man, he is a true hero, even when he is doubting himself and others are doing the same thing. Over the years, we have watched him step up over and over again, even when it didn’t seem like he was the hero we needed, he proved us all wrong.

And just thinking about him as a father and the way he absolutely adores his daughter is enough to have us throwing our lot in with Scott Lang as a possible romantic partner. Seriously, could he be any cuter?!

There is so much to love about Scott, while at the same time there are just some things that make us stop and think is this the right choice for us (and our heart). At the very least, we think going on dates with him would be a lot of fun, and fun is always something we can appreciate.
