Ranking of Marvel characters based on dateability – 23. Loki

In many ways, Loki is both a villain and what we might consider to be an anti-hero of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He has his moments where he can be heroic, and then there are other moments when we know it is all about him. That being said, there have been plenty of moments where he has proven that he is willing to help others and even sacrifice himself.

Loki has shown consistent growth as a person over the years, and there have even been moments with his father and brother where he proved that he was loving and engaged in their well-being. And those moments prove that while he might be a trickster, he can also be a loving partner.

Let’s not forget that Loki also has an appreciation for theater, which means if you are a fan of the theater, that would be a perfect date for the two of you. If the performance paints him as a hero, all the better.

If you are up for a bit of fun and ridiculousness, Loki might just be the one for you. Of course, it is important to pay attention to not only what he says and does, but also what he doesn’t say. After all, this is a man who has faked his own death in order to gain sympathy with his family (and gain some power).

We can appreciate the fact that Loki is a bit of a mess, and we can forgive his attempts at power grabs because, at the end of the day, he proved that he was willing to save others, even if that meant sacrificing himself. He has proven that he is willing to take the steps needed to be a good person, and that makes him a fascinating man to go on a date with.
