While her name might suggest that she is not the ideal partner, Black Widow (also known as Natasha Romanoff) has shown on multiple occasions that she is open to love and commitment. And she has sacrificed a lot for others as well.

Over the years, Black Widow has been more of a sideline character, and yet she has consistently shown up and proven that she can hang with anyone. And when she does get a chance to shine, she shows off so many different facets of her personality.

When it comes to dateability, Black Widow has proven that she is loyal, trustworthy, able to keep secrets, and has a soft spot for people that the rest of the world might overlook. (Her ability to connect with the Hulk and show him love empathy is so beautiful that if you aren’t convinced to take her on a date, I have no hope for this relationship.)

Black Widow is willing to sacrifice herself for others and she does it in a way that refuses to be apologetic. She puts others above herself, and if that doesn’t make her someone you want to take home to the parents, I don’t know what else to tell you.

And even if you would rather friendzone her, that’s okay too, because she will still be there for you in the end, and you might just change your mind anyway.
