Supergirl kicks off the end of an era with its return. The show has been a part of Arrowverse fans’ lives for over half a decade. Now it bows out with the sixth and final season of 20 episodes.

It’s been quite the ride for the Girl of Steel. The show was once a part of CBS and it brought in an incredible 12.93 million viewers with its premiere episode. It then moved to The CW for its second season and has remained there ever since. During that time, it has been one of the network’s top performers.
The sixth season will quickly wrap up the remaining season 5 storylines. The previous installment had to conclude with an impromptu finale because of the production shutdown of 2020. Now those episodes – which will see Supergirl face off against Lex Luthor – will air now before the final season’s story gets underway.
