Kung Fu debuts on The CW with the first episode of its first season. Here’s how you can watch “Pilot” online.

This Wednesday, a new series premieres on The CW. Kung Fu debuts with its pilot episode as it kicks off a modern retelling of a TV tale that enthralled a previous generation.

A reimagining of the classic 1972 TV series of the same name, Kung Fu stars Legacies‘ Olivia Liang in the leading role. Nicky Shen, a woman who has become estranged from her family due to her decision to drop out of college and train in martial arts, returns home after three years in a remote monastery in China.

However, upon doing so, she realizes that her home is now overrun with crime and decides to step up, using her expert martial arts training to her advantage to become the hero that it needs. That won’t be all she’s busy with, however, as she too will become a target.

The CW’s next major series premiere this season, it follows in the footsteps of the monumental successes of Walker and Superman and Lois. Let’s hope Kung Fu can enjoy a similar level of success as those!
