3. Sharon Carter returns with a vengeance!
After escaping when their cover is blown, the trio of Zemo, Bucky and Sam are saved by Sharon Carter, who is less than thrilled to see them in Madripoor. As it turns out, Sharon has not been pardoned for her crimes in Captain America: Civil War and is still on the run for helping Sam and Bucky. Nonetheless, she decides to still help them here, and kicks butt in the process.
Her best scene comes during the massive action sequence at the shipping yard, as she defends the boys as they investigate a shipping container for Dr Nagel. Sharon showcases her fighting abilities, and how she seems to have watched a number of John Wick movies during her time on the run, as she brutalises the bounty hunters using a number of different methods.
This sequence showcases how Sharon’s outlook on life has changed since the audience has last seen her, as she is more aggressive and savage as a fighter. While she seems less than heroic in here, however, Sharon does help bide Sam, Bucky and Zemo time to interrogate the doctor.
It will be interesting to see where her next appearance in the series takes the character, as Sharon is then seen approaching a female character that the audience has yet to be fully introduced to. Could Sharon potentially be an antagonist in the series? All will soon be revealed on that end, however seeing her kick butt throughout the episode was a great moment for fans.
