2. John Walker versus the Dora Milaje

It was clear that the Dora Milaje were set to have a big role in this episode ever since Ayo’s cameo at the end of the third installment. However, while their hunt for Zemo was sure to cause conflict between the Wakandan warriors and the titular characters, the sequence that the fans were given was something unexpected and rather satisfying.

After weeks of fans hating the new Captain America (who is brilliantly portrayed by John Walker), the man is given an absolute reality check after he engages in combat with the Dora Milaje – who take him to school. Walker never stands a chance in the fight, with the Wakandans nearly killing him before Bucky and Sam intervened. The Dora Milaje even nearly take the shield, before Ayo orders them to return it.

This scene gave fans an incredibly satisfying fight, as seeing Walker get schooled by opponents he thought he could overpower was amazing, with his reaction after the fight leading to the character eventually taking the serum. While a showcase of Walker’s arrogance, the scene also brilliantly portrays how badass and amazing in combat the Dora Milaje are, proving they are not to be taken lightly.
