1. Walker crosses the line

This scene is the big one, with the episode five trailer teasing that the outcome of Walker’s actions here will cause Sam, Bucky and the new Captain America to come to blows. After a battle with the Flag Smashers, Karli is responsible for the death of Walker’s sidekick Lemar Hoskins. This results in an enraged Walker chasing down the Flag Smashers, and cornering one of them in the town square.

He demands to know where Karli is and, as the Flag Smasher pleads for his life, Walker decides to kill him brutally with the shield, creating a cold parallel to the ending of the fight between Iron Man and Steve Rogers in Captain America: Civil War.

The resulting action results in Sam, Bucky, Karli and the rest of the citizens (filming on their phones) being left in complete disbelief. A harrowing shot of Walker holding the bloodied shield showcases how much the character has tainted the mantle of Captain America, with the character likely to not have a happy ending when things are all said and done.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier adds a new episode to Disney+ every Friday.
