This Friday, a new episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier premieres on Disney Plus. The six-part series is nearing its conclusion but before its finale airs next week, it has another new installment to air.
The fifth episode is undoubtedly the most anticipated episode yet. Anticipation for the Marvel Cinematic Universe series has increased significantly throughout its run. In fact, excitement has been building before it debuted, with the success of predecessor WandaVision increasing it tenfold.

The fourth episode was the most shocking so far. With Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes attempting to reason with the leader of the Flag-Smashers, Karli Morgenthau, they ran into a number of roadblocks. First, their unlikely partner, Helmut Zemo, wanted to kill her. Then the new Captain America, John Walker, showed up and made everything worse. And then, the Dora Milaje showed up to take Zemo to Wakanda.
The closing moments of the episode saw John Walker make his way down a path from which there is no return. And now it’s up to The Falcon and the Winter Soldier to restore honor to the Captain America legacy by reclaiming Steve Rogers’ shield from the U.S. Agent.
With just two episodes of the show’s run (or first season at least) remaining, you can rest assured everyone will be watching the penultimate episode.
