Marvel’s She-Hulk to bring this alien species back to the MCU
An unknown shapeshifter is set to appear on the Disney+ television series Marvel’s She-Hulk. We don’t yet know if she has been cast yet but could she be one of the hero’s villains?
As revealed by The Illuminerdi (H/T: The DisInsider), a shapeshifter could be set to make an appearance on Marvel’s She-Hulk. The character description of this unknown shapeshifter can be read here:
"“She is a 20-30-year-old female described as a mysterious shapeshifter that embraces Earth’s pop culture. Enjoying the way she lives life, she uses her power in any way that she can to make her happy, including to get herself power, money and attention.”"
The Illuminerdi went on to clarify some other details about this casting call for this particular role, adding that this is a recurring character and that the role is currently using the codename A’Dood. The report also reveals that she will appear in two out of the ten episodes of the superhero legal-comedy drama.
Who is the shapeshifter appearing in She-Hulk and is she a Skrull?
It has yet to be revealed which Shapeshifter is appearing in She-Hulk but the outlet speculates that this character may potentially be a Skrull – although one we have not met quite yet in the MCU, suggesting that it might be “Jazinda” – an agent of the Skrull Empire tasked with a mission to recover a particular artifact (which alien race hasn’t been tasked with that before?) who ends up befriending She-Hulk in the comics. She partnered with her on several adventures.

Of course, this is all just speculation at this point, so whether this is a Skrull, an enhanced human or a totally original character made for the Disney+ TV show is uncertain. The question is: Is she a friend or a foe?
She-Hulk stars Tatiana Maslany, Mark Ruffalo, Tim Roth and Ginger Gonzaga but more names have yet to be added to the cast. Jessica Gao is serving as showrunner, while Dana Schwartz is writing the series with Kat Coiro and Anu Valia directing. Gao, Coiro and Kevin Feige are all credited as executive producers on She-Hulk.
Marvel Studios is producing the series with principal photography imminent and is expected to drop on Disney+ sometime in 2022.
