The Falcon and the Winter Soldier: 4 huge predictions for the finale
By Mark Lynch
What could happen in the season finale of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier?
The first season of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is coming to an end. The debut season carried the momentum of WandaVision perfectly, giving fans more of a Marvel Cinematic Universe feel than its equally brilliant predecessor while also tackling some really important messages as it delved into racism and trauma. Both of those topics were handled well too, making people aware of them in very thought-provoking ways. That’s the beauty of comic book TV shows as they allow the creators time to explore important aspects of the story and characters without things feeling rushed in the way that a typical superhero movie might.
Marvel Studios isn’t going to end the Disney Plus show’s season without a bang. We’ll undoubtedly see a lot of things that will surprise us – some things we know are coming and can’t wait to see. For example, we’ll finally get Falcon in his Captain America uniform. Fans have been patiently awaiting this moment.
On that note, here are some things to expect in the season finale of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
4. The birth of U.S. Agent
John Walker was told that he could no longer be Captain America. That was a message he didn’t take well because he felt that everything he did was justified. That doesn’t mean that he’ll stop trying to be a hero though. The mid-credit scene in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier showed Walker working on a shield of his own. With that will probably come a new suit and mission in life.
Marvel Comics fans knew what this meant. John Walker will officially become U.S. Agent. This writer assumed that the show would start off with John being U.S. Agent; that the government would try and erase Captain America from history and create something new that they made. The wait until the end of the season, however, will undoubtedly be worth the wait.
