5. Falcon and Winter Soldier vs John Walker

After the heinous action John Walker committed at the end of “The Whole World Is Watching,” it was certain that the new Captain America was going to come face-to-face with Steve Rogers’ greatest allies. The three characters have had an uneasy relationship ever since encountering each other, however after Walker’s actions, it was evident that the pair were going to take back the shield.

Walker believes himself to be Captain America and does not see the fault in his actions, leading to the titular pair engaging in a brutal fight with him. The disgraced Cap does not hold back, as he savagely beats into the pair and seems to have total control of the fight for the majority of the confrontation.

However, Bucky and Sam eventually manage to overcome the vicious and violent Captain America, with Sam taking the shield away from Walker. The blood stain displayed on the shield throughout showcases that the shield’s legacy may already be in jeopardy, setting up some more conflict throughout the rest of the episode.

Falcon’s wings are destroyed in the process, and with the way the episode headed, it may be the last time we see Sam use those particular wings. Fans may even witness a different character take up the mantle before the series ends…
