Best DC movies and shows on HBO Max: Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox

The upcoming Flash movie in the DCEU has been rumored to be a big moment for the franchise and could possibly reset everything up to this point that’s happened utilizing the storyline in the comics called Flashpoint, which sees Barry Allen change things as a result of going back in time. It will be interesting to see how things play out when it arrives, but until then, fans can check out a similar flick that takes from the same source material in what IGN claimed outdid its source material.

Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox is an animated film adaptation of Geoff Johns’s 2011 comic book crossover Flashpoint and is directed by Jay Olivia. It features all the members of the Justice League like Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, and The Flash and also has alternate dimension versions of the characters, including a dual-wielding Thomas Wayne Batman.

The story follows Barry Allen, who decides to run so fast he goes back in time to save his mother. But this causes several things to change in the present, including the fact that Barry isn’t The Flash anymore and doesn’t have his super-speed. He must find a way to undo what he has done to prevent a war involving the Atlanteans and Amazons from destroying the world.

The film is the first title in the DC Animated Universe and will be a satisfying watch for anyone that just finished Zack Snyder’s Justice League and eagerly awaits The Flash movie.
