Best DC movies and shows on HBO Max: Justice League: Dark

A lot of fans criticized some of the films in the DCEU because they were too dark, both figuratively and literally. For some of these motion pictures that approach workload out okay, while with others, it might have worked better had both the studio and director been on the same page. Whatever the case may be, it is clear that if fans are going to enjoy the dark side of DC comics, then it needs to be done right. One excellent example of these efforts being executed exemplary is the DC Animated Movie Universe movie Justice League: Dark.

When the bad guys are too scary even for the Justice League to take on, the superhero squad must call upon those with gifts that know how to deal with such nefarious otherworldly beings. These individuals with supernatural abilities must put their differences aside and team up to take on some heavy-duty supernatural foes. This exciting crew of heroes includes John Constantine, Zatanna, and Jason Blood, who is also in known as the demon Etrigan.

Justice League: Dark has a solid score on Rotten Tomatoes, with Collider saying the film “is a briskly paced, darkly magic adventure that gives some of DC’s most shadowy heroes a chance to shine in a story that folds in mythology and mystery, while never losing sight of what it means to be a hero.”

The dark side of the DCEU is no match for Justice League: Dark, now available on HBO Max.
