Best DC movies and shows on HBO Max: Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons

A lot of people were shocked to see Slade Wilson, aka Deathstroke, enter the DCEU in the credits scene of Justice League and then return in an expanded role in Zack Snyder’s Justice League. The character has been a heavy hitter in Arrow and Titans over the years, increasing the villain’s fanbase. A solo film was scheduled but never happened, but thankfully there is a DC animated feature that stars the superior mercenary.

Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons was initially going to be a series released on The CW Seed, but only the first episode was ever made available on the platform. The 12 episodes were repurposed into a movie where Michael Chiklis from The Shield and Fantastic Four films does the voice of the titular character.

The motion picture takes place ten years after the super-assassin made a tragic mistake which his son and wife paid for, and now they are threatened once again.

The series has been revered on Rotten Tomatoes as a worthwhile endeavor withs significant praise going to the story, visuals, and action. If there was any type of flick out there that could fill the void left in the lives of DCEU fans because of the lack of Deathstroke solo endeavors on the big screen, they’ll find relief in Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons.
