Best DC movies and shows on HBO Max: Young Justice

The DCEU has yet to develop any of the core heroes sidekicks, let alone the younger generations who are set to take over. A dead Robin in Batman V. Superman that keeps being hinted at in what would honestly be a more interesting story than anything else that has come out so far in the struggling mega-franchise. Given the popularity behind shows like Legends of Tomorrow, Titans and Young Justice, it may be time to bring those types of persons into the fold.

While those three examples all have their merits, Young Justice stands out as the most exceptional endeavor of the choices and contains some pretty epic storylines. The series had great ratings and was even named one of the Top 25 Comic Book Shows of all time.

In the show, the Young Justice team works as a younger counterpart to the Justice League working as a covert operation group. The team is made up of sidekicks and teenage superiors, including Aqualad, Kid Flash, Beast Boy, Bumblebee, Lagoon Boy, Artemis, and Miss Martian, just to name a few.

It will probably be some time before characters featured in the animated series Young Justice will be featured in the DCEU, which is good because before they start messing with the next generation of metahumans, they should probably get better at working with the heavy hitters on the big screen. So, for now, fans will just have to watch the very well-received.
