Is Wolverine and the X-Men (2009) on Disney Plus?

Many people are pretty split on whether or not the X-Men films are worthwhile endeavors, but most everyone can agree that Wolverine was awesome even if the titles he was featured in weren’t all that great. That character is one mutant that everyone thinks of when thinking about the heroes that role with professor X, and of all his adaptations, many have Wolverine and The X-Men ranked pretty high as an excellent legacy cartoon to experience.

The series based on Joss Whedon and John Cassidy’s Astonishing X-Men run premiered in 2009 and stands as the fourth of five animated installments of the X-Men franchise. Among the executive producers serving on Wolverine and the X-Men tow of the biggest names in Marvel are on that list being MCU head honcho Kevin Feige and Marvel godfather Stan Lee.

In the series, an explosion at the school for Mutants causes the remaining heroes to go their separate ways. But when things take a turn for the worst, Wolverine will have to step into the role of leader, reunite the squad, and of course, help save the day. Emma Frost, Angel, Nightcrawler, Storm, Shadowcat, Iceman, and more are in the mix.
