This Sunday, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow returns to The CW. The unforgettable series has been off TV screens for almost one year but now it’s back with its sixth season.
Widely regarded as the Arrowverse‘s most inherently fun show, Legends of Tomorrow is one of the most unorthodox programs on TV. It centers on a group of time-traveling superheroes (and some reformed supervillains) as the traverse the timeline and, in their own words, “mess things up for the better”.

In the years since the show’s debut, the Legends have battled immortal tyrants, speedsters, archers and time demons. This year, however, they are up against a threat that they are only vaguely familiar with: Aliens.
The previous season’s finale saw the team celebrate their victory over the fates before their leader, Sara Lance, was abducted by aliens. The team have yet to realize but when they do, can the Legends get their captain back?
We’ll find out in season 6 – a season that promises to be full of memorable creature features.
