The brand new animated series, Star Wars: The Bad Batch, arrives on Disney Plus with the first episode of its first season. Here’s how you can watch “Aftermath” online.

This Friday, a new era begins for Star Wars fans. Yes, the new series Star Wars: The Bad Batch arrives on Disney Plus with the first episode of its first season.

Released on the beloved Star Wars Day, May 4, the series will focus primarily on Clone Force 99 (a.k.a. The Bad Batch). These clone troopers are considered among the very best and they were introduced in the previous Star Wars animated series, the revered Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

More from Disney Plus

Disney Plus has been churning out a host of new content in recent months, with Marvel Studios dominating the headlines with releases like WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (and it will look to do so again with the upcoming Loki). The other huge live-action Disney+ series that the streamer is renowned for, however, was that of The Mandalorian – a live action Star Wars series starring Pedro Pascal as the titular bounty hunter.

This is only the beginning for Lucasilm’s presence on the streaming service as a line-up of new shows will follow in the footsteps of Mandalorian, the recently-concluded Clone Wars and The Bad Batch, including Obi-Wan Kenobi and the Ahsoka series.
