This Friday, a new episode of Disney Plus‘ new Star Wars series premieres on the streaming service. The Bad Batch premiered recently and now there is another brand new episode to enjoy less than a week later.
The premiere episode, “Aftermath”, was unveiled as part of the “Star Wars Day” celebration this past Tuesday on May 4. In a twist that undoubtedly made fans even more excited, the episode was a special 75-minute premiere.

Moving forward, however, new episodes of the series will release on Fridays – a day that many have come to expect as Disney Plus’ typical release day. And it’s also one of the many reasons that fans think Marvel Studios series Loki will now premiere on Wednesdays instead.
The Bad Batch is Disney Plus’ third Star Wars series, coming after the critically-acclaimed live action series The Mandalorian and the seventh season of long-running animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Needless to say that it looks like its successful streak is set to continue as Star Wars: The Bad Batch is receiving positive reviews from fans and critics.
