This Monday, a new episode of 9-1-1: Lone Star season 2 airs on Fox. The 9-1-1 spin-off is currently in its sophomore TV season but now it’s about to air the second-from-last episode of said sophomore season.
The show has enjoyed two successful runs since it returned back in January of this year. The first half ran from January to March before a month-long midseason hiatus. It then returned in April and has produced a series of non-stop episodes ever since.

The latest installment saw a serial arsonist exposed by Captain Owen Strand (Rob Lowe) and Texas Ranger Gabriel Reyes (Benito Martinez). However, their respective sons, T.K. Strand (Ronen Rubinstein) and Carlos Reyes (Rafael Silva) became targets. Thankfully, in an episode with some incredible performances, T.K. and Carlos found their way to safety.
However, the closing moments of the episode left fans in shock once again. Captain Tommy Vega (Gina Torres) returned home to find her husband Charles (Derek Webster) unresponsive, leaving fans very concerned for the beloved character.
With the finale in sight, 9-1-1: Lone Star is making sure every viewer is paying attention and it will undoubtedly continue to do so with what looks to be a major penultimate episode. What will happen in the next installment?
