Black Lightning season 4 finale trailer reveals that [SPOILER] is alive

The finale of Black Lightning season 4 is almost here and the series finale trailer reveals Jennifer in the ionosphere, Chief Lopez using superpowers, and the resurrection of Jefferson Pierce.
This is it. The for the series finale of Black Lightning. To mark the occasion and increase anticipation, The CW has released the final trailer for Black Lightning and the final trailer for the Arrowverse series in general.
The previous episode ended with Tobias Whale killing Jefferson and sending a picture of his dead body to Jennifer’s phone. An image that Jennifer will never forget, she screamed in terror and dropped her phone.
This was a fittingly shocking way to end the show’s penultimate episode and increase anticipation for the upcoming series finale. Now, the trailer below reveals what happens to the Pierce family after Jefferson’s apparent “death”, as well as alluding to some of what else viewers can expect from the last episode.
The series finale’s synopsis teases that, after its four seasons “the game-changing, relevant and electrifying series comes to an end”, but just how will it bow out?

The trailer starts with Jefferson talking to his father Alvin Pierce, suggesting that Jefferson really was killed by Tobias – who clearly wasn’t bluffing and made certain that his enemy was dead. Jefferson was defeated and you can see how bad he feels about that as he’s talking to his father. His dad tells him that what he’s feeling is shame and that Jefferson is the only person that can stop Tobias and “Get it done.”

This makes sense because Jefferson stopping Tobias is the only way this can end. The pair’s long rivalry started when Tobias killed Jefferson’s father. Tobias even acknowledged this in episode 12 by saying that he created Black Lightning. He’s right.
At the end of the trailer we see Tobias and Black Lightning fighting. Well, Black Lightning putting a beat down on Tobias. It’s only right that it finishes with Black Lightning taking him down. This has the potential to be the most emotional battle of the series.
