Black Lightning season 4 finale trailer reveals that [SPOILER] is alive

The Pierce family goes after Tobias
Before the real fight can start, the Pierces are still reeling from Jefferson’s “death”. All them (including Gambi and T.C.) are looking for revenge. Jennifer claims that she should have killed Tobias when she had the chance, referring back to the Black Lightning season 1 finale. As they go after Tobias, however, it looks like they’re met by the Freeland Police – who use weapons that injures Anissa. Later, we see Gambi throw his hands in the air and surrender.
What does this mean? Will this season end with the death of Anissa or is she just injured and out of the fight? Will this blast cause her to lose her powers? That would certainly make her life easier when the fighting is all over because it would allow her to go back to living a normal life – something that Grace mentioned wanting in episode 11.
We also have Gambi to worry about. He surrenders to the police but that doesn’t keep him safe. Seeing the trailer, it looks like either he or Anissa could be in danger. If wither of those beloved Black Lightning characters were to die, it would undoubtedly lead to a more poignant response from viewers.
But what of the rest of the characters? Well, it wouldn’t be too unexpected if Jennifer became the new Black Lightning. T.C. could then take over as Black Lightning’s tech guru.
