This Friday, Star Wars: The Bad Batch streams a new episode on Disney Plus. The TV show only recently arrived on the streaming service and now, in its third week, it releases its fourth episode.
The show premiered with a special extended pilot episode on Star Wars Day, Tuesday May 4, before then moving to Fridays for its weekly release slot. It will now air the remainder of its first season – which consists of 16 episodes in general – in that slot.

Set within the Star Wars continuity, The Bad Batch is a spinoff of The Clone Wars (which also streamed its final season on Disney+) and follows the adventures of the Clone Force 99 a.k.a. The Bad Batch – whom we first met in an episode of the previous animated series.
The Star Wars franchise is continuing to expand, with its various spin-off movies and TV shows making plenty of headlines in recent years. The most successful of them all is undoubtedly The Mandalorian – which effectively put Disney Plus and its originals on the map, paving the way for Marvel Studios to do the same with their recent installments.
